HOW DO I ENTER AN ITEM TO SELL THROUGH THE SHOP?

 

Firstly you will need to register on our website. Once you have registered you will receive an email asking you to verify, this must be accepted to complete the process.

From the home page, click in the box with a camera and ADD YOUR ITEMS ONLINE

ITEM 1: Fill in the necessary boxes, i.e. item name, Description, Category (from drop down selection) and price. Click on image one and download. The same goes for any further images, 6 pictures in total can be added.

To add another item, press the item 2 box and repeat the process. You will note that the pages will be stacked allowing you to go back and view previous lots and make amendments.

When ready, click on the upload your items box.

This will take you to a secure payment page, where you can pay your account, please remember to tick the terms and conditions box.

Windibanks and yourself then receive notification and once your items have been checked by our staff, you will receive another email confirming the item has been listed on our website this can be within 1 to 5 days and will stay on our web site for 6 weeks (42 days) or until sold


What do you charge for postage?

Our standard Postage and Package charges are:

13 for items under 1kg in a Jiffy bag;

15 for items over 2kg; (for more than 1 lot add 5 for each extra lot up to 8kg)

Prices vary for items posted to the Highlands Islands and addresses outside the UK.

Goods paid for by telephone will only be posted to the address to which the payment card is registered and which accords with the address on our records.

How does the Wish List work?

You can use the wish list to select multiple lots to bid all at once, make an enquiry, ask for condition reports, print just this list, bookmark and email.
How can I leave a bid on an item/s?

If you go to a specific lot you can click on the photograph and on the right hand side there is a bid button.  If you wish to bid on more than one item you are best to select the items and put in the wish list then you can go to the wish list and update all the lots at once.
Do you deliver items purchased in the Windibank shop?
Open
We can deliver, by Streetwise Delivery Service, items up to 8kg, except furniture. When you buy a lot in our shop it will add the delivery charge to your account
